The Anne Arundel County Public Schools constitute seventy eight elementary schools, nineteen middle schools, and thirteen high schools. Other than this, the AACPS is also responsible for maintaining two centers of applied technology. Students with special needs are attended to in the three separate special education centers, which also come under this district.
